L'Expo "Da Vinci, l'artiste, l'ingénieur, le gastronome"

At SLL-Concepts, an audiovisual company in Ghent, I worked on all stages of a Renaissance-style projection project for the Liège Museum. The installation featured animated representations of foods Leonardo da Vinci would have eaten, displayed on a table and background wall. I handled concept development and animation using AI tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

In the pre-production phase, I conducted historical research, developed the menu concept, and created visual elements using AI tools. I designed and composed three distinct tables: starters, main courses, and desserts — each inspired by traditional Renaissance-era foods.

During production, I built the entire project in After Effects, using precise measurements and proportions to match the physical table and wall where the visuals would be projected. I then animated the elements and created smooth transitions between the different table compositions. The team at SLL-Concepts carried out on-site projection tests to ensure accuracy and impact.

In post-production, I focused on refining the animations, adjusting timing and visual elements, and preparing the final files for client and internal approval. This phase ensured the project met both creative and technical standards before delivery.

Video Production and Special Effects

In video editing and special effects projects, I work on a wide range of tasks — including sound design, visual enhancements, transitions, intros, outros, and the integration of animated or graphic elements. I have experience editing both short-form content, such as ads and social media reels, as well as long-form pieces like video lessons and films. My focus is always on delivering dynamic, engaging, and cohesive audiovisual content.
